Our seaweed products are sourced from artisan producer Suralgas in Vejer fe la Frontera – a few miles from the Atlantic coast near Barbate.
These filaments of violet red Ognori seaweed are preserved with natural, unrefined Atlantic sea salt to reduce their moisture.
They are crunchy to the bite, with intense flavour and aroma.
They come in vacuum-packed and sealed trays to maximise shelf life and eliminate moisture.
We recommend you soak them for 15 minutes just before consuming to eliminate excess salt and return the seaweed to its freshness.
It is ideal in fish stews, rice dishes, fideuas (noodle paellas), and soups, and sautéed with seafood or vegetables.
The packs last for nine months.
