Perfect as a dessert in itself or as an accompaniment to ice cream, chocolate, acidic or citrus desserts, and blue cheeses, this rich and creamy sherry from Urium lingers on the palate.
The unique Pedro Ximénez character is created by the process of “asoleado” followed by lengthy ageing in oak barrels. A rich, dark mahogany-coloured sherry is created.
It has a bouquet of dates, dried figs, honey, hints of cocoa, coffee, and tiramisu. It is best served between 11C and 13C.
