The process of creating this sherry by Urium gives it an intensely dark mahogany colour and rich aroma.
The sherry is made with 100% sun-dried Pedro Ximénez grapes which are pressed. The wine is aged for more than 30 years in American oak barrels, giving it the bouquet of raisins, dates, honey, roasted coffee beans , and liquorice notes. Its long maturation also attracts the VORS denomination showing sherry quality.
The sherry feels velvety in the mouth, feeling like a dessert in itself. It’s a special touch to finish any meal and is the ideal drink to accompany desserts based on bitter chocolate or ice cream, and strong blue cheeses. It is best served slightly chilled between 11C and 13C.
